Software Engineering Manager Role on Data Team at industry-leading Insurtech company.
A leading insurtech company with over 14 years of experience in the industry is looking to bring on an Engineering Manager to one of their Data Teams. This firm has recently partnered with several household-name insurance carriers and is entering an exciting phase of growth, scaling their engineering organization to support new initiatives and expanded capabilities.
You will be leading a homegrown ETL platform and an embedded analytics platform.
What you will do:
• Own the planning, execution, and delivery of critical data infrastructure projects
• Lead, mentor, and support a group of high-performing engineers
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals
Requirements:
• 8+ YOE, including 2+ years in a managerial or tech lead role
• Experience with Ruby on Rails (preferred), Java, or Python on the backend
• Exposure to React.js
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related STEM field
• Deep understanding of data engineering principles and infrastructure
